Woman and boy attacked by violent thugs with crowbar during horrifying burglary

in Wigan. The incident happened on Chapel Green Road in Hindley at around 3.20pm on Sunday (July 26). Three masked men, one of whom had a crowbar, broke into a house and attacked a 44-year-old woman and 14-year-old boy.

Two of the men shouted at the woman, demanding she told them the location of a safe.Police said one of the men held the woman her by the neck and punched her 'numerous times' in the face.One of the raiders hit the boy with a stool before pushing him to the floor and stealing his phone from his hand.
