Stray Kids’ leader Bang Chan has revealed that Day6 member Young K gave him a lot of feedback while they were trainees.In a recent interview with Teen Vogue, the K-pop opened up about his journey as a musician. While Bang Chan emphasised that he did not like “relying” on others, he also shared that he had looked to older trainees at JYP Entertainment for advice as he worked on songs as a trainee.“My next-room neighbor was [Day6’s] Young K, Brian hyung, and sometimes I’d let him listen to what I wrote,” recounted the Stray Kids’ leader, who had joined the agency’s trainee programme at age 13. “He’d give me good feedback.

Stray Kids member Hyunjin has spoken about how he managed to regain his motivation as a performer.In a new interview with Dazed Korea, the K-pop idol shared that a recent live performance had rekindled his love for performing after spending the past two years in a pandemic-stricken world.“Because of COVID-19 and everything, we really didn’t have any opportunities to meet our fans on stage,” Hyunjin revealed, as translated by Soompi. “But at the end of last year, we finally had the opportunity to perform in front of a small number of fans.”“Since it was the first time in nearly two years that we took the stage in front of our fans [in person], it really recharged our energy, and I felt like I had rediscovered my reason for being on stage,” he added, adding that the performance remains a source of motivation for him.

Stray Kids members Bang Chan, Seungmin and I.N have released their cover of ‘I’ll Try’ by originally by South Korean band Day6.The trio performed their rendition of the pop rock ballad as part of the group’s recent appearance on the August 25 episode of South Korean idol variety show Weekly Idol, for a segment on the show called Weekly Playlist. Vocalists Bang Chan, Seungmin and I.N stayed mostly true to the original song, with the trio harmonising in its final verses: “Just like your love / That loves me / Just the way I am / Just the way you are / I’ll hold you”.‘I’ll Try’ was originally released by Day6 in 2017, from the band’s second studio album ‘Moonrise’.
