*NSYNC could be making a comeback soon, according to teasers for an upcoming Trolls movie.The third Trolls movie, titled Trolls Band Together, is set to release in October this year in cinemas across the globe. Justin Timberlake has announced a free show in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee.The singer shared the news on social media, where he will perform at the Orpheum Theatre on January 19.“Tickets are free but space is limited,” the former *NSYNC singer captioned the post. Tickets are on sale now and will be available until January 15 – get yours here.The announcement follows the news that Timberlake had wiped his social media accounts, sparking rumours that new music was on the way.

*NSYNC, New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys has been greenlit by Paramount+.According to Variety, the as-yet untitled documentary will trace the legacy of boy bands during the height of their fame in the ‘90s and early-2000s, and will feature interviews with boy band members as well as archival music footage.The project will be directed by Tamra Davis, whose credits include the music videos for New Kids on the Block’s ‘Call It What You Want’ and Hanson’s ‘MMMBop’, among others. The documentary is co-produced by Johnny Wright, who previously served as the tour manager for both New Kids on the Block and *NSYNC member, Justin Timberlake.“The Nineties boy band era was an extraordinary chapter in music where harmonies and beats came together,” Wright said of the documentary, per Rolling Stone.

*NSYNC have released ‘Better Place’, their first song in more than 20 years.The pop band, whose last song was a remix of The Neptunes-produced ‘Girlfriend featuring Nelly in early 2002, have reunited for a funky new single that features on the upcoming Trolls Band Together soundtrack.‘Better Place’ is produced by Shellback who also collaborated with *NSYNC bandleader and solo artist Justin Timberlake for Trolls, the first of the three film franchise installments, in 2016. The song ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling‘ was a hit.Despite getting up hopes of a reunion proper, Billboard reports that there are no plans for *NSYNC to return soon for a tour.
