Anya Taylor-Joy and her husband Malcolm McRae experienced a terrifying robbery in London last year, it has been revealed.Per The Standard, the Furiosa and The Queen’s Gambit star was staying in a north London mansion with her musician spouse and his bandmate Kane Richotte when intruders broke in.The burglary took place in February 2023, but the news has only just been made public after The Standard won a legal battle to lift the reporting restrictions around the case.Allegedly, two masked raiders smashed some glass to make their way inside the mansion, before trying to get into Taylor-Joy and McRae’s bedroom whilst the couple were inside.The pair and Richotte were all staying at the property of a well-known figure at the time, whose name cannot be revealed for legal reasons. They are reported to have been shaken up by the experience, but not physically injured.
