ArenaNet has announced that Guild Wars 2 will be introducing a brand new story event featuring an NPC based on a real-life hero.Supported by the charity organization Children Miracle Network, the free-to-play, massively multiplayer online role-playing game will see 10-year-old April Arellano join Guild Wars 2 during the Extra Life 2022 Game Day event on November 4.While the event is ongoing donations can be made and all proceeds will go to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. ArenaNet has announced that Guild Wars 2 is coming to Steam, a decade after the game was first released.The developer made the announcement today (August 16), and shared that Guild Wars 2  will come to Steam on August 23 – five days before the free-to-play MMORPG celebrates its tenth anniversary.As part of Guild Wars 2‘s Steam launch, ArenaNet is also releasing a bundled version of the game titled The Complete Collection.
