AURORA has recounted the time she asked Chemical Brothers‘ Tom Rowlands to “puke vomit all over” a song on her new album ‘What Happened To The Heart?’Speaking as part of NME’s In Conversation series, the Norwegian alt-pop artist said her new LP was “extremely playful” and has seen her “working with people I admire.”“We have a lot of fun. We feel like two little aliens walking around, and we have the same hunger for something exceptional,” she said when discussing her work with Rowlands.

The Chemical Brothers have unveiled a one-off ‘In Conversation’ event to be held in London.The duo of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons will arrive at EartH Theatre in Dalston, London in conjunction with Rough Trade. The event will be held on Monday December 4 at 8pm, where the pair will discuss their new book Paused In Cosmic Reflection. The Chemical Brothers made their triumphant return to Glastonbury last night (Friday June 23) as they took over the infamous Arcadia stage with a highly anticipated DJ set.The iconic duo were due to play at the festival in 2022 but had to cancel at the last minute when Ed Simons came down with COVID. This year, they performed a two hour set at Arcadia, which will also host appearances from Skepta, Skream, Interplanetary Criminal and VTSS.In true Chemical Brothers fashion, the pair rattled through an arsenal of heavy artillery dance music, moving from house to techno and breaks with ease.

The Chemical Brothers have announced that they’ve had to postpone their show in Ireland tomorrow (June 23) due to members of the band and crew testing positive for COVID.The electronic duo – comprising Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons – were scheduled to perform at Musgrave Park in Cork tomorrow night, but they’ve now rescheduled the gig to next year.“The Chemical Brothers are sorry to announce they have had to reschedule their show at Musgrave Park, Cork, Ireland on Thursday June 23rd, 2022, due to Covid in band and crew,” the Chemical Brothers wrote in a statement on Instagram.“The show will be rescheduled to 2023. The Chemical Brothers have announced an expanded, anniversary edition of their second record ‘Dig Your Own Hole’.Originally released on this day (April 7) in 1997, ‘Dig You Own Hole’ features two UK Number One singles (‘Block Rockin’ Beats’ and ‘Setting Sun’) and went on to top the UK album charts as well as sell over half a million copies in the United States.To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the band are releasing a special, three-LP vinyl reissue on July 29 (limited to 1997 and available here) alongside both a CD and digital release.The reissue will feature the original album, alongside five new tracks. The first of which, a demo of ‘Elektrobank’, is out now.
