Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan made Love Island history when they steered off stiff competition and became the first Black couple to win the show for the 2024 series. It was an achievement that made headlines across the country but, personally for the duo, they’re proud of what their record-making journey has done for representation – and for other young Black people.

Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan are already getting stuck into their romantic together after leaving the Love Island villa as this year's winning couple - and making history in the process. The loved-up pair, who became the first Black couple to win the show, might have only known each other for a few weeks, but they're already laying a strong foundation and making plans for the future - which doesn't include double-dates with Ayo Odukoya and Jess Spencer.

The current series of Love Island finishes on Monday 29 July, and the remaining couples at the Majorcan villa must all have their eye on the £50,000 grand prize – except for one unfortunate duo, who were unceremoniously dumped following the Grafties ceremony that has yet to air on ITV2.The couple in question, who were part of the recoupling ceremony shown on Friday 19 July, have already packed their bags and left the villa, so have missed out on a chance at the cash.They were given the boot after the annual Grafties, in which viewers voted for Islanders in categories such as Unfinished Business, Epic Fail, Dramatic Performance and Flirtiest Performance.The Grafties – and that surprise eviction of an Islander couple – comes immediately after the final recoupling of the show. Ayo Odukoya received the dreaded text telling them that the boys were the ones who could make the choice of which girl to couple up with for one final time.

There will be a dumping from Love Island tonight (10 July) with more than one contestant set to leave the show. During the evening, it’s Ayo Odukoya who receives a text message asking everyone to gather round the Fire Pit immediately. Grace Jackson then reads a text: “Islanders, the public have been voting for their favourite girl and favourite boy, those with the fewest votes will be at risk of being dumped from the island tonight.

Love Island producers have allegedly introduced another brutal twist as the show nears its end resulting in several stars being dumped from the villa. With new bombshells and Casa Amor cast still remaining, there have been 17 people in the villa, meaning limited space and beds. So now more fan-favourites have been axed from the show.

Ruby Dale is one of the new bombshells joining Love Island - but her singledom has been called into question as she’s been previously pictured in a wedding dress. Last week on Love Island, the original girls left for Casa Amor, a new group of singles arrived to meet the boys, including Ruby.

There’s bad news for Love Island fans as Wednesday's show (10 July) has been removed from its regular slot.The series has been pushed back on ITV2 due to England’s Euro game against the Netherlands playing out on ITV. With the semi final match begins at 8pm the channel have pushed the reality show to 10pm so telly fans can enjoy both.

Trouble is brewing for Love Island favourites Joey Essex and Jessy Potts as a bombshell enters to steal him away. During Thursday's episode (11 July) Joey gets picked to be bombshell Lolly’s first date out of three and goes to meet her on the Hideaway terrace. Lolly sits down for her first date with Joey, and she doesn’t hold back.

Love Island viewers declared they have two contestants in mind to win as they rejoice over a ‘revenge arc’. Mimii Ngulube was left single after Ayo Odukoya chose to recouple with bombshell Jess Spencer. Mimii was distraught and viewers feared that as she stayed single, she could face being dumped from the show.

Two new bombshells, Trey Norman and Jessy Potts, will enter the Love Island villa tonight and it already looks like Jessy’s game plan is set to cause heartache for at least two other loved-up couples. Jessy, a 25 year old from Leicester, describes herself as “a bit different to the other girls in there, I’m the girl next door but with a bit of an edge.” More worrying for some of the contestants who have already coupled up, she also warns: “I have a fiery side and am not afraid to say what I think or stand my ground.I’m not very good at taking no for an answer.” That could mean trouble for some of the girls in the villa, as Jessy admits she has three men on her radar – Joey, Ayo and Ronnie. “I like Ayo, he’s gorgeous and seems really chatty,” she says.
