Gay pro- wrestler Anthony Bowens sent a strong, heartfelt message through tears after winning his first major All-Elite Wrestling (AEW) championship.Bowens made history, along with his teammate and the other half of the tag team The Acclaimed, Max Caster as the pair snatched the AEW tag-team championship. The pair defeated the duo Swerve in Our Glory – Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee in the dynamite match at the AEW Grand Slam.With this win, Bowens has become the first openly gay competitor to win gold in the AEW and spoke about the importance of the win and what it means to him.“Some of you know, some of you may not know, but I never thought I’d be able to have a moment like this.”“I never thought I would be able to live my dreams because there was a time where I was very confused, and I didn’t know how to accept myself, but I fought through that bullsh*t.

Before Jon Moxley became the biggest asset on AEW, wrestling fans were going gaga over the 35-year-old wrestler as Dean Ambrose in WWE. Initially, as a part of The Shield, Ambrose also got some solo spotlight with immense popularity in tow.

When news first broke out in 2019 that Dean Ambrose was not resigning with WWE, the immediate reaction was 'absolute shock'. However, with time, fans realised that the decision was not a hasty one; in fact, it was a long time coming.

The major highlight of Wrestlemania 36, in spite of taking a major hit due to the coronavirus outbreak, was John Cena and Bray Wyatt aka The Fiend's epic and highly entertaining Firefly Funhouse Match, which was nothing short of a cinematic masterpiece. During one segment in the match, we see the opponents in the WCW Nitro era, with John's dream heel persona in action as the wrestler sported NWO gear. During this segment, we had Vince McMahon's puppet in the commentary table saying the words, "This is such good s**t!"

Jon Moxley and Renee Young's love story began in 2013 when they met in WWE and fell madly in love. Then, in 2017, the couple got married in an impromptu ceremony in their Las Vegas home. Jon left WWE in 2019 and shifted base to the competition, AEW, while Renee is still an integral part of the WWE commentary team. However, the two have a very healthy relationship and don't let their work get in the way! Moreover, Young has been very supportive of her husband's AEW rise and posts about the same on social media!

It was indeed Jon Moxley's night as the wrestler reigned supreme, even after being beaten down by Chris Jericho and the members of The Inner Circle, to be crowned the new AEW World Champion at AEW Revolution 2020. It was an intense back and forth between the two competitors, who were previously employed with WWE, as Jon revealed towards the end of the match that his right eye was completely fine all along. After two Paradigm Shifts, Jon was able to seal his fate as the new AEW World Champion.
