Gaumont and Egerie Productions have announced they are teaming with Prime Video on heartwarming French-language drama My Mother, God, And Sylvie Vartan (Ma Mère, Dieu, Et Sylvie Vartan), which is the platform’s first French-language feature destined for a theatrical release.

Emily in Paris actor Lucas Bravo has been cast in the lead role of new movie Sulak. Bravo, known to audiences for playing chef Gabriel in the hit Netflix series, will be swapping the small screen for a bigger one in the crime caper adventure. According to Screen Daily, he's set to play titular character Bruno Sulak, a real-life French criminal who earned a notorious reputation in the 1980s for his non-violent heists on multiple jewelry stores.
