'Make them free': Supermarkets renaming 'feminine hygiene' aisle sparks debate
Supermarkets changing the name of their ‘feminine products aisle’ to ‘period products’ has sparked debate amongst many Manchester Evening News readers. Aldi has followed the lead of Asda and Boots in doing this, so now items such as tampons, towels and panty liners are now referred to as ‘period products’ rather than 'feminine hygiene' products.
