Soccer Mommy has concluded her Singles Series today (July 2), sharing covers of The Cars and System Of A Down alongside Domino signing and former Cherry Glazerr member SASAMI.Proceeds from the tracks’ sales on Bandcamp tomorrow (July 3) will go to Oxfam’s COVID-19 relief fund​ and ​National Bail Out​, helping relief efforts in the wake of the coronavirus, as well as ongoing global anti-racism protests. An anonymous donor will also match any Oxfam donations up to $5,000.For the final edition of the series, Soccer Mommy has covered The Cars’ classic ‘Drive’, while SASAMI has shared a version of System Of A Down classic ‘Toxicity’.“I’m really glad to get to release this cover of drive,” Sophie Allison, aka Soccer Mommy, says.

Soccer Mommy has teamed up with MGMT‘s Andrew VanWyngarden for the latest instalment in her ‘Soccer Mommy & Friends Singles Series’ — you can hear the two artists rework one another’s songs below.The new link-up with VanWyngarden, who is going by the moniker Gentle Dom, follows on from Soccer Mommy’s — AKA Sophie Allison — recent collaborations with Jay Som and Beabadoobee for the series.For this instalment in the singles series, Soccer Mommy has covered MGMT’s ‘Indie Rokkers’ while Gentle Dom has remixed Soccer Mommy’s ‘Circle The Drain’. Soccer Mommy has teamed up with Beabadoobee for the latest release in her ongoing single series.Last month (May 21), the 22-year-old, whose real name is Sophie Allison, shared the first two songs from her ‘Soccer Mommy & Friends Singles Series’, which sees new releases arriving every two weeks.The first tracks in the series saw L.A. singer-songwriter Jay Som cover Soccer Mommy’s ‘lucy’, while Allison took on Jay Som’s ‘I Think You’re Alright’. Upcoming sessions will feature MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden and SASAMI.In this latest instalment, Allison and Beabadoobee have shared demos of two previously released songs.

Soccer Mommy has announced new dates for her rescheduled UK tour in support of second album ‘Color Theory’.The Nashville musician was due to bring the record to the music venues of the UK later this month, but was forced to postpone the shows due to the coronavirus pandemic.Now, the indie star (whose real name is Sophie Allison) will return in 2021, kicking off a run of dates at London’s Electric Ballroom on February 18. She will then visit six more cities across England and Scotland, concluding at Leeds’ Belgrave Hall & Canteen.
