Prior to his Teletubbies fame, he had a long acting career dating back to the eighties, including appearances in Incredible Games, I, Robot and The Greatest Game Ever Played.Simon was not the only famous star in his family either, as it is reported that his niece is none other than Celebrity Juice star Emily Atack.In his personal life, the actor was also married to Emma Robbins, with whom he had two children called Lydia and Henry.However, Simon died during a night out in 2018 at the age of 53 years old, after being found collapsed in a street in Liverpool.The actor was found to have had a "high concentration of alcohol" in his body when he froze to death during the night out, with an inquest by coroner Anita Bhardwaj ruling his cause of death as misadventure.His children paid tribute to the star following his death, with his son Henry saying: "My lovely dad was the kindest and most gentle man I knew.
