Great British Bake Off star Paul Hollywood is training to be a pilot – and escape the stress of celebrity.Telly chef Hollywood has been studying for his private licence with an instructor.And he revealed he has two more hours of practice before taking his first solo flight.The Great British Bake Off host said flying helped him escape from the “madness” that comes with being a celebrity.He said: “It’s just you, a machine, and you’re away from all the madness.“Of course I’m a bit nervous. But up there you’ve got total freedom.”Paul admitted he had the flying bug and had already forked out £21,000 for sessions in a Second World War Spitfire.Paul said he had flown the fighter planes from Headcorn Airfield in Kent and gone over farmland where the Battle of Britain took place.
