Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 has officially been announced, with the remastered skating game coming this summer.Following on from 2020’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, this new game features remastered versions of 2001’s Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4, which were originally released in 2002.“Skate the original content rebuilt from the ground up joined by new skaters, parks, tricks, music and more, including enhanced creation tools and New Game+ to keep the grind going,” reads an announcement blog.As well as two challenge tours and rebuilt levels, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 will also offer crossplay for up to eight players and an entirely new level set in a disused waterpark.Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 will be released July 11 and will be available on PC as well as PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles. Green Day have soundtracked a new short skate film called ‘Monsters and Saviors’ – check it out below.The 11-minute film was edited and directed by Russell Houghten and was a collaboration between the band and Monster Energy, which sees a huge skate crew assemble to celebrate the band bringing their ‘Saviors’ tour across North America.The tour is celebrating the band’s new album of the same name, which was released in January, as well as the 30th anniversary of their seminal album ‘Dookie’ and 20th anniversary of the equally seminal ‘American Idiot’. In reference, the film uses one track from each album – ‘Longview’ from ‘Dookie’, the title track from ‘American Idiot’ and ‘Bobby Sox’ from ‘Saviors’.“There’s no denying Green Day’s legacy in the skate scene is anything less than iconic,” said Monster in a statement.
