Shirley Ballas has been blasted by fans - who claimed the Strictly Come Dancing judge is "sexist".The dance veteran has been accused of preferring male celebrity dancers to women on the hit BBC One show.Fans took to Twitter and slammed the head judge after Sunday night's show during which Shirley, 62, was accused of backing a male contestant over a female.Singer Fleur East, 34, and pro partner Vito Coppola, 30, survived the dance off, but Shirley said she would have booted them out in favour of Radio 2’s Richie Anderson, 34, who performed a Samba dressed as a meerkat alongside Giovanni Pernice.Viewers raged on social media, accusing the head judge of bias, and called for her to be axed from the programme.Shirley has since taken to Instagram and shared a cryptic message following the backlash.Taking to her stories, the quote read: "Some people aren't loyal to you, they are loyal to their need of you. Once their need changes, so does their loyalty."Her message comes after Strictly viewers took to Twitter and called for Shirley to be axed following some of her feedback about some of the celebrities taking part in the show.Social media user, Lizzie Man fumed: "Shirley Ballas should be removed from the panel, she’s setting a bad example, she cannot celebrate the young, female celebrities.
