Poldark star Richard Harrington says he worked as Deliveroo rider in lockdown
The Crown, revealed he worked as a Deliveroo driver in lockdown.The 45-year-old actor, who played Captain Andrew Blamey in Poldark, and appeared as Fred Phillips in The Crown.He has also starred in shows like Endeavour, Death in Paradise, Casualty and Midsomer Murders.The Welsh actor fell on some hard times in 2020 as he was left without work “between March and September” due to pandemic restrictions.So he decided to take up a job delivering takeaways in London to supplement his income.In an interview with BBC Cymru Fyw, he said: “I got a job with Deliveroo, going around on my bike and delivering takeaways to people in London.“I’m normally quite a fit person but the lockdown has turned me into a lock-in so I was thankful I was able to go on
