Ex-Man Utd star Luke Chadwick felt "defenceless" after comedy show targeted him "weekly"
Manchester United and West Ham United ace Luke Chadwick has again opened up about the “weekly” abuse he took from sports game show "They Think It’s All Over".The satirical sports panel show ran between 1995 and 2006, featuring a range of high profile pundits including England golden boot winner and Match of the Day host Gary Lineker and actor Nick Hancock. While the program entertained millions of viewers, many of their gags came at Chadwick’s expense, poking fun at his looks and facial expressions. In the summer of 2020 Hancock and Lineker both issued apologies, after Chadwick spoke candidly about the effect these jokes had on his mental health and well-being.
