'Glad I don't have to be part of it anymore' Anton Du Beke 'hated' aspect of Strictly role
Anton Du Beke, 56, is now a judge on Strictly Come Dancing - and he is relieved that he no longer has to be part of the performances on the dance floor himself. The former ballroom star has now confided exactly why he "hated" aspects of being part of the team of professional dancers on the BBC show.Discussing the thorny issue with Olympian snowboarder Aimee Fuller over a game of golf, he admitted that - in spite of having performed on the show for almost two decades - he still can't stand his memories of being in the dance-off."I've always hated that bit, so I'm delighted that I don't have to be a part of it anymore," he admitted on Aimee's podcast, Monday Mile."It's always the part of the show I've disliked the most, where somebody's got sent home - invariably the bit where I've got sent home, with my partner.
