Louise Akester, who worked in the care sector for 14 years, lost her job last year after the government called for all care home workers to be vaccinated, to protect elderly residents. At the time she broke down in tears as she said goodbye to her job.

A care worker who lost her job after refusing the Covid jab has shared a emotional video following her final shift.

A carer broke down in tears when completing her final shift after being sacked for refusing the coronavirus vaccine.

care home worker has said she is "heartbroken" after being forced to leave her job next week for refusing to be vaccinated. Louise Akester, 36, is not willing to get vaccinated currently but says she does not rule out getting the Covid vaccine in the future.
