dog’s ashes were burned in a communal chamber and scattered in a field 90 miles away in a huge crematorium mix-up.Kim Bowers and Martin Conlon, along with their three kids, were gutted when their beloved pooch, Zeus, had to be put to sleep after he coughed up blood and was diagnosed with a tumour.The couple paid £150 for the remains of the 13-year-old Mastiff to be to be returned to their family home in Fenton to be kept alongside the ashes of their Labrador Max, who died two years ago.But the beloved pooch never made it home from the Cheltenham crematorium after CPC Pet Cremation Services admitted he had mistakenly been cremated with other animals, reports Stoke-On-Trent Live.Kim, 31, said: "Zeus was the world's best dog and such a character. It was only a few weeks ago that he coughed up some blood and we both knew what it was."At that point he was still okay but he deteriorated so we took him to be put to sleep.
