Phillip Schofield's replacement for We Buy Any Car adverts has been announced following the news that the This Morning presenter would be stepping away from the lucrative role. Last week, it was revealed that Phillip would no longer be the face of the car trading company after first appearing in the adverts almost five years ago.

PHILLIP Schofield's WeBuyAnyCar replacement Jeff Obeng has been seen filming his first advertisement for the lucrative car-buying company.  The This Morning presenter was dropped from their promotional campaigns after five years – a deal worth £1million – shortly after being accused of jumping the 12-hour queue to see Queen Elizabeth's coffin lying in state.  However, Webuyanycar.com insist the decision to part ways with Schofield after more than five years was not connected to the incident.  Instead, the business has now recruited Obeng – best known on TikTok as Mufasa or Cousin Skeether – in order to appeal to a younger market after he hit internet fame thanks to his dance routines in the passenger seat of a car.  Most prominently he was seen doing his own take on 1992 hit Push The Feeling On by Nightcrawlers alongside C.T Moody, aka Hypeman.  A source told The Sun at the time of Schofield's exit: “Mufasa is just what the brand needs to inject some energy into the adverts after the backlash following ‘queue-gate’.
