The day Rangers icon Paul Gascoigne chased Celtic fan while wearing a floral dress before downing Scotland at Euro 96
Ian Durrant and Gazza but Durranty said he had to drop off a couple of tickets at a bar on Paisley Road West.We had a pint while he sorted the tickets out and the lady behind the bar, a huge Gazza fan, asked if she could have the T-shirt he was wearing. He agreed to swap shirts with her but the bar was busy and it didn’t smell so fresh so on the way into town Gazza jumped out at a set of traffic lights. He re-appeared from a charity shop, where he had swapped the barmaid’s sweaty polo shirt for a blue and white floral dress. The strangest thing was that no one in the pub made a big thing of Gazza wearing a dress.
