There’s very little hard evidence that the plan - code-named The Borghild Project - actually existed.After the conquest of France in 1940, Hitler’s henchman Henrich Himmler, leader of the feared SS, reportedly said: “The greatest danger in Paris is the widespread and uncontrolled presence of whores, picking up clients in bars, dance halls, and other places.“It is our duty to prevent soldiers from risking their health just for the sake of a quick adventure.”As a result, says Donald, Himmler got the sign-off from The Fuhrer to order 50 sex dolls - designed under the supervision of Adam Zimmerman at the German Hygiene Museum - which were trialled at military camps in occupied Jersey.Donald came across the story while researching a book about the history of the Barbie Doll.
