Jared Leto has revealed that he contemplated signing up Billie Eilish and Finneas before their rise to fame.Leto spoke about the opportunity during an interview with James Corden on The Late Late Show in the US yesterday (January 26).Recalling how he was introduced to the sibling superstars by the film producer Emma Ludbrook and the US agent Tom Windish, Leto explained that his first encounter with Eilish and Finneas took place some years ago prior to them being signed.“They weren’t signed, and I thought that maybe I would try and sign them, they were so incredibly talented and just special people,” Leto said (you can watch him talk about Eilish and Finneas at the 6:08 mark below).

Lion filmmaker Garth Davis is set to direct the much-anticipated Tron: Legacy sequel, starring Jared Leto.The Disney release has been in development for several years as fans of the 2010 film held out for a follow-up, and now according to Deadline, production has been kicked into gear with Davis, who was also behind the camera for 2018’s Mary Magdalene, on board.Leto, who has also signed on as a producer, has been attached to the film since 2017.

The upcoming third "Tron" movie from Disney will be directed by Garth Davis, known best for directing 2016's "Lion." Deadline originally reported the news, announcing that Davis, 45, will tackle the film, which will not be a direct sequel to "Tron: Legacy" or its predecessor "Tron," but will instead tell its own story within the franchise.
