Puppy left unable to walk after being 'shot' in cruel attack
near Bolton. Kevin, a Parson Russell Terrier, suffered a puncture wound to the side of his body while out walking in Blackrod last Wednesday (December 9). His furious owners believe he was purposely targeted with a slingshot or BB gun.Kevin was walking along Church Street at around 4.45pm when his owner Emma Howard saw him jump and yelp in pain. The pup was in so much agony he was unable to walk home by himself, forcing Emma to carry him the rest of the way. Initially thinking a stone had flicked up from the side of the road, his owners phoned a local vet as Kevin struggled through the night.
