BRITAIN'S Got Talent hopeful Cormac Thompson released an album on a major label two years before auditioning in front of the TV judges. Last night viewers watched the 13-year-old Lancashire choral singer impress with a cover track that appears on his record.

BRITAIN'S Got Talent viewers all had the same complaint about the acts tonight. Saturday's instalment of the ITV show saw the remaining hopefuls take to the stage to get four yeses from Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden couldn't seem to hold back her tears as she watched a schoolboy audition for the popular ITV show.In upcoming scenes set to air this weekend, 13 year old Cormac Thompson blew the judges away with his rendition of Snow Patrol's song, Run.As well as Amanda, Simon Cowell and hosts Ant & Dec also felt Cormac did a brilliant job too and commented favourably throughout his audition.In 2020, during the coronavirus pandemic, aspiring musician Cormac started uploading videos of himself performing online.His singing talent didn't go unnoticed as he was spotted by Decca Records who wanted to work with him.The young teen later released a 15-song album called Hear My Voice last year.Cormac also competed in the BBC Young Chorister of the year and went straight through to the final rounds.Despite Cormac's incredible talent and career history, BGT recently received complaints from viewers for showcasing acts who were already established or who had been on other talent shows prior.Viewers have questioned the show's authenticity as certain acts were already classed as "professionals" in their field before climbing onto the famous BGT stage.This included golden buzzer acts like Greatest Showman singer Loren Allred and comedian Axel Blake, who has his own special on Amazon Prime.An investigation conducted by The Sun concluded that one in four of this year's hopefuls fall under this category.Discussing the matter further, a BGT spokesperson told the publication: "All acts enter the competition with the hope of elevating their career to the highest level and help to reach massive new audiences which Britain’s Got Talent brings in."As we’re all aware, the pandemic affected so many lives, particularly
