Dec Donnelly’s back in touch with long-lost cousins he found on DNA Journey after ‘miscommunication’
found out that he had Irish roots and more than a dozen cousins he didn’t know existed, who were living in the USA. However, he revealed in his autobiography with his TV presenting partner Ant McPartlin, that they’d lost touch with each other after the show. Writing in their book, Once Upon a Tyne, Dec said: ‘There was also Greg and Meg, relatives of mine in Connecticut, who were lovely and . . . what’s the word I’m looking for?’Ant joked: ‘Billionaires’, to which Dec added: ‘That’s it.
