'New Love Island' The Cabins axed by ITV despite being huge hit with viewers
ITV2's hit show The Cabins has been cancelled after just two series. The reality show, which was heralded the 'new Love Island ', saw single 20-somethings ditch their dating apps and find love in secluded cabins. After moving into the titular cabins, stars of the show would have 24 hours to decide if they wanted more time with the person they'd been matched with for a very intense first date.The show proved popular with fans, and performed well as a replacement for Love Island when it wasn't being broadcast in the summer.
