Anne Douglas, a film publicist who first met Kirk Douglas on the Paris set ofAct of Lovein 1953 and married him a year later, died Thursday. She was 102.

The Hollywood star died at the age of 103 on February 5 2020 and his cause of death was kept private.Anne and Michael met in 1953, but it was later revealed that she turned down his advances, as she was still married to first husband Albert Buydens and Douglas was engaged.However, after working together, their relationship blossomed.The couple married in Las Vegas and had two sons Peter and Eric.Following a career as an actor and comedian, Eric tragically died of an accidental drug overdose in 2004.Anne devoted her time to philanthropic work, including founding the Anne Douglas Center for Women at the Los Angeles Mission and co-founding The Douglas Foundation with Kirk.She also-founded the Cedars-Sinai Research for Women’s Cancers.Anne
