BBC Breakfast's Naga Munchetty admits reason for sleepless night on Radio 5 show
Naga Munchetty hosted her Five Live radio show this afternoon on little sleep after staying up to watch the French Open last night.The match featured long-time rivals Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nada compete against one another in the quarter-finals.Although it was a nail-biting match throughout, it was Nadal who was victorious and has advanced to the Roland Garros semi-finals.The match began Tuesday night and finished in the early hours of Wednesday morning.Speaking about the match, Naga admitted to her listeners she couldn't turn herself away.Naga said: "Wow, what a match last night between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic at Roland Garros You may have stayed up late watching it, I did."She later went on to call the intense match "epic" before admitting to not getting much sleep in order to watch it.Naga continued: "Honestly, I couldn't turn myself away. I loved it and yes was lacking a bit in sleep but I'm good! I'm up for today."He said "I didn't get any – I didn't really get much sleep.
