Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has signed a new contract as Manchester United boss worth almost £30m.Solskjaer has agreed a three-year deal worth £200,000-a-week that will keep him at Old Trafford until at least 2024, with the option of an extra 12 months.The Norwegian's current deal was due to expire at the end of next season.But despite failing to win silverware since taking charge in 2018, United bosses have been impressed with the progress the team has made under Solskjaer.United finished second in the Premier League last season and also reached the Europa League final, before losing on penalties to Villarreal.Securing Solskjaer's future comes less than 24 hours after United completed the signing of England star Jadon Sancho from Borussia.
