MAX George has turned down a big money offer to appear on Celebs Go Dating. Producers tried to tempt The Wanted singer, who has recently split from Stacey Giggs, with a huge £160,000 payday, but he declined.

Max's decision comes after he was pictured on not one, but three holidays with EastEnders’ star Maisie Smith. A TV source said: "Unfortunately Max turned it down - despite the huge pay cheque - he has no ambitions to be on a dating show especially so soon after his split with Stacey. "He's found the past few days tough and says he's trying to keep a low profile and stay out of the spotlight for a while." The Sun exclusively revealed that Max, 33, and Maisie, 21, had grown close after appearing together on the Strictly tour.

The new couple kicked things off with a trip to Portugal with pals, shortly followed by a break in Mallorca. The Sun first told how they were dating after they were spotted snogging on a plane.
