Lori Loughlin is reportedly in good spirits now that her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, is out of prison for his role in the college admissions scandal.  Online prison records viewed by Fox News confirm that Gianulli has been transferred to RRM Long Beach, a residential re-entry facility.  Giannulli, 57, spent the last five months at a federal prison in Lompoc near Santa Barbara. He reported to prison in November, nearly one month after Loughlin reported to FCI Dublin to complete her two-month sentence.

Mossimo Giannulli will continue to serve his five-month sentence behind bars. On Tuesday, the 57-year-old fashion designer was denied his request to be released from USP Lompoc in Santa Barbara, California, and to serve the remaining portion of his prison sentence in home confinement. A judge ruled that if «extenuating circumstances occur in the future», the prison warden can intervene, or Giannulli can file a renewed motion.Giannulli's lawyer filed the emergency motion that was denied earlier this month, stating that the conditions in prison «are far more extreme than what the court recommended.»At the time that the motion was filed, Giannulli had spent 56 days confined in solitary quarantine as part of the prison's COVID-19 procedures.

TMZ, a judge said Mossimo's arguments weren't compelling enough and felt that he doesn't have a heightened risk of contracting the virus at USP Lompoc in Santa Barbara, California.As part of Mossimo's plea, he said he'd been stuck in solitary confinement and argued that, due partially to the pandemic, the conditions in prison are "far more extreme than what the court recommended." His complaints about isolation, the court said, aren't grounds for a home release. In fact, the court expressed that Mossimo should have essentially expected a quarantine upon entering prison.

Mossimo Giannulli has put in a request to finish his prison sentence at home. According to court documents obtained by ET on Thursday, in an emergency motion filed by his lawyers, Lori Loughlin’s husband is asking to be released from custody of the Bureau of Prisons and to serve the remaining portion of his prison sentence in home confinement. The motion states his conditions in prison “are far more extreme than what the court recommended.”
