GEORDIE Shore: The Reunion Series will be back in 2023 - despite bosses saying the return was a one-off special. The show, which reunited many of the iconic Newcastle-set series' stars, proved a big hit so MTV have ordered another round of the franchise.
But rather than following the same format as the recent Reunion episodes, the next series will see a format shake-up in store.
A source told The Sun: "MTV bosses were thrilled with how well the reunion series went down, so they want to do another series with the original cast. "Obviously this time around it won't be a reunion, as they've already come back together, so it will be a bit like the US spin off of Jersey Shore, titled Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. "Rather than going back to the Geordie Shore house, this time cameras will follow the cast in their own lives, as well as on a big holiday together.
