The 29-year-old actress and activist was discussing the importance of gender equality alongside author Valerie Hudson, 62, when she revealed her interest in the topic.
In the interview which was published in Teen Vogue, Emma appeared to herald relationships that don't 'follow traditional models' and suggested that everyone could take a leaf out of their book due to the importance of communication.
She said: "I’ve... become slightly fascinated by kink culture because they are the best communicators ever," she explained during her conversation with the author. "They know all about consent.
