Dan Walker, 44, has been at the centre of a whirlwind of abuse surrounding his success on Strictly Come Dancing, after he made it through to the 11th week of the competition with his pro parter Nadiya Bychkova.

But following Sunday night's vote, which saw Tilly Ramsay leave the show, Dan once again shared one of the horrible messages he had been sent but had to apologise for accidentally not blocking out a swear word.It's hard to celebrate triumph when you know you're going to be hounded by people who believe you don't deserve a place.But it's a good job Dan is used to being in the public eye and knows that he can't please everyone.Taking to Twitter, he thanked fans while sharing some screenshots of the kind messages of support he received.
