Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is set to snub an offer to stick around in the Premier League and sign for AC Milan, according to reports.Thomas Tuchel is planning a huge clearout this summer and Giroud, whose contract runs out at the end of this month, is one of those expected to leave.The Frenchman has been a good servant to the west Londoners since joining from Arsenal in 2018, scoring 39 goals in 119 appearances, mostly from the substitutes bench.Giroud’s already limited opportunities have been even harder to come by under Tuchel, who has used the 34-year-old just 15 times since his arrival in January.
According to Italian source Calciomercato.com, the forward had an opportunity to join MLS side New York City or remain in the Premier.
