Victoria and David Beckham are said to have been left 'open-mouthed' following an interview by Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham.
The couple publicly addressed ongoing rumours of a feud between Victoria, aged 48, and Nicola, aged 27, the Mirror reports. During the interview with Variety, Nicola said it began when she didn't wear a wedding dress designed by her now mother-in-law.
Meanwhile, Brooklyn, 23, noted that "everyone gets along," but it has been said the interview hasn't gone down well with his parents. It is thought to go against their philosophy in regards to unfavourable stories being written about them.A source told Heat: "The interview left David and Victoria open-mouthed. [...]"They're seeing it as an attention-seeking stunt and they now need to figure out where to go from here."The individual said the family's brand's view is "that you stay silent rather than acknowledge" to make some stories disappear. They added that Brooklyn was raised on that approach so his parents think Nicola "quashed any attempt from him to play it down." The source said that Victoria also "couldn't help" getting involved in wedding planning and was "constantly overriding" their decisions.
They said that the plan had "always" been that the fashion label founder would be working on the dress alongside Nicola. However, the actress and hotel heiress ended up wearing a Valentino gown on her big day instead.Victoria "may have overstepped the line" with her input, the source said.
