mirror.co.ukTikTok star Siya Kakkar took her own life, the police have confirmed. The social media star, who was just 16-years-old, died by suicide at her home in New Delhi, India, on June 25.
Siya garnered 1.1million followers on video sharing app Tik Tok and was best known for sharing clips of herself performing dance rourtines.
Delhi police confirmed the cause of death to India Today Television, saying: "Siya died by suicide at her residence in New Delhi at around 9pm on June 25.
She lived with her family. "Her family is in shock and has requested privacy. No suicide note has been recovered." Police said her phone had been seized but they are yet to unlock it.
