Strictly Come Dancing’s eliminated star James Bye breaks down in tears after Tess Daly’s comments on emotional show

STRICTLY’S Fleur East won last week’s dance-off de­spite a disastrous fall that was kept secret from viewers. She tumbled at her first attempt with partner Vito Coppola and was allowed to restart. Judges voted the pair through at the expense of East­Ender James Bye.

STRICTLY star Shirley Ballas has shared a cryptic post amid speculation that she should be replaced as a judge. Last month the 62-year-old was blasted by fans who claimed that she is sexist. Many viewers think that Shirley has been showing preference to the male celebrity dancers over the women taking part on this year's series of the  BBC1 show.

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans are fearing a fan favourite could be in trouble after landing one of the most difficult dance routines the series shows.  As the remaining 10 couples are heading into week seven of the competition, and after the shock elimination of EastEnders’ James Bye and Amy Dowden last week, it’s clear no one is safe.  Ellie Taylor and Johannes Radebe topped the leaderboard during the Halloween special, doing a Couples’ Choice routine inspired by Hocus Pocus to I Put A Spell On You.  However, fans are fearing that this may be a high coming before a fall, as they’ve now been landed with the difficult rumba.  The Cuban dance, which is characterised by slow and determined hip movements, passionate storytelling and requires immaculate posture.  Strictly rumbas have proven to either make or break partners during their stint on the show – and it hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans.  “Absolutely thrilled for Ellie and Jojo, although I sadly sense the glittery trap door next week with that rumba,” wrote one, before adding, “more than happy to be proved wrong.”  “Ellie and johannes rumba who else is scared?” said another.  While another took a quote from Whoopi Goldberg and said: “ellie t, you in danger girl”  Strictly is going back to basics this week after two back-to-back themed episodes.

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans have a big decision to make - as real-life pro couple Kai Widdrington and Nadiya Bychkova swerve the official tour for their own show.  Both theatre tours hit the road next year, with Kai and Nadiya making the most of their fairytale romance with an 11-date titled Once Upon A Time from late March until the beginning of May.  However, this is a direct clash with rehearsals and initial performances of the official Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals tour, which starts at Hull Bonus arena on May 2nd.  It will continue to cover the whole of the UK, including a three-day stint at the London Palladium, before finishing at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena on May 30th.  As a result, they won’t be able to make it, proving a knock for both fans and the show itself, seeing as they are two of Strictly’s most prominent professional dancers.  Dianne Buswell, Vito Coppola, Carlos Gu, Karen Hauer, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Jowita Przystal and Nancy Xu have all been confirmed to perform in the upcoming 31-date official show.  Nadiya and Kai went public with their romance earlier this year, following Nadiya’s split from footballer fianceé ​Matija Škarabot ​in 2021.  When taking part in the Strictly tour last year, Kai was first spotted comforting her. After initially keeping their relationship a secret, they are now regular faces on red carpets including the Black Adam premiere in September, and frequently jet off on romantic holidays together.

The 38-year-old became the fifth celebrity to leave the competition when he found himself in the dreaded dance-off for the first time and was up against singer and broadcaster Fleur East, following a Halloween-inspired live show.

STRICTLY Come Dancing fans were gutted that show favourite Giovanni Pernice was missing from the Halloween special. The Italian professional, 32, who has been dubbed the 'Halloween King' was missing from Saturday's episode and tonight's results show.

STRICTLY had a Halloween Week horror show as a feud erupted between the judges. A show source called the atmosphere “tense” after spats involving Craig, Motsi and Shirley. Craig had fired first by branding Motsi a “diva” in an interview.
