Nicole Scherzinger
Nicole Scherzinger (born Nicole Prescovia Elikolani Valiente; June 29, 1978) is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, actress and television personality. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, she initially performed in high school at Clark AB plays and studied at Wright State University before dropping out to pursue a musical career touring alongside American rock band Days of the New and through Popstars, became part of the short-lived girl group Eden's Crush. Scherzinger rose to fame as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls and released the albums PCD (2005) and Doll Domination (2008) becoming one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time.

Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell is the principal, founder and chief executive of the British entertainment company Syco.

Simon Cowell gives strongest hint yet X Factor will return - but teases ‘changes’

It was the reality tv show which was the centrepiece of Saturday night television for families up and down the country for years.

At one point an average of 14 million of us tuned in to watch The X Factor as would-be stars were put through their paces by a team of judges which included Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh, Dannii Minogue, Cheryl, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger The show ran for around 445 episodes finally bowing out in December 2018 but not before catapulting many of the acts featured, including JLS, Little Mix and One Direction, to fame and fortune.

Now Simon - the man behind the phenomenon - has revealed he ‘really, really’ hopes that it will return. “I’m not sure where or when but it would be great to have it back,” he tells OK! “I say that because of how many successful artists have had careers since they went on it., “Yes, you might hear some people say they were unhappy or thought they might sell more records but I am proud of how many people got a start after being on the show.” He says’ so many’ people are attempting to secure record deals and the amount of UK artists breaking through compared to 20 years ago is, he says, minute.

But, if the show does return, Simon, who is 64, says he would ‘make changes’ to the whole experience. “I think it would be taken back to basics.
