All five victims were shot in the head, execution-style, the authorities reported.The alleged crimes took place on September 2, 2019, with Mason calling 911 and telling police he had been in the basement when he heard gunfire shots upstairs.According to investigators, he later confessed to killing his family and led officers to the murder weapon, a 9mm pistol, which was legally held at the residence.Mason pleaded not guilty to the killings in April 2021 and he’s due back before a judge on August 12.
