Kilmarnock schoolboy raised a whopping £1,735.38 for Ayrshire Hospice by putting his best foot forward and walking more than 225,000 steps.Devoted Charlie Scott-Martin, 9, wanted to reach his goal on March 31 – his beloved great-grandfather Jim's would-be 81st birthday.However, the determined Crosshouse Primary School pupil smashed his target and actually walked a mammoth 226,875 by the end of March.Superstar Charlie decided to take on the challenge to thank the hospice for all the care they gave to Jim and his other much-loved great-grandad, David, who passed away in 2017.Stephanie McLaughlin from the fundraising team at the hospice was delighted to visit Crosshouse Primary alongside hospice mascot Agent H.The Ayrshire Live app is
