Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that Apex Legends will receive a ranked Arena mode once Season 10 rolls outAs confirmed by Respawn head Vince Zampella during EA Play Live 2021 Spotlight, the newest season of the Titanfall spinoff – expected sometime in early August – will introduce a permanent ranked version of its newest three versus three mode.A new character (or Legend) is also expected to make its debut at EA Play Live on July 22nd. Respawn Entertainment has announced that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has had its next-gen upgrade released today.The update will be free for owners of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, or available to buy separately. Owners of physical copies can contact EA via their help site and provide their account information to get the upgrade for free as well.All players need to do is then select their platform, choose “codes and promotions”, complete a form and provide proof of purchase to get a code.

Respawn Entertainment has announced that new Apex Legends champion Valkyrie will be getting a nerf soon.Apex Legends’ associate live balance designer John Larson revealed on twitter that the character’s tactical hover is only consuming fuel at 10% of the normal planned rate.Larson explained that with the Apex Legends Global Series Championship 2021 coming up, a nerf to the tactical hover is required.

Respawn, the team behind Apex Legends, has addressed some player concerns over pricing in a Reddit AMA.The response came during a Reddit AMA that invited players and fans to ask questions about the game, with several members of Respawn staff replying. Respawn Entertainment has revealed a new gameplay trailer for Apex Legends season nine, which introduces a new arena mode.The Legacy trailer introduces the new Arena mode, gives a preview of the abilities of new Legend, Valkyrie, and also gives details on the latest weapon to be added: the Bocek Bow.The trailer, which also teases story developments for season nine, is available below:Arena Mode will be a permanent fixture of Apex Legends throughout season nine. Respawn Entertainment have announced that they are intending to fix the ongoing issues with Titanfall‘s PC multiplayer.Years after launch Titanfall still struggles with DDOS (Digital Denial of Service) attacks which have been affecting its multiplayer. The developer tweeted that “help is coming ASAP” and that they are “aware of ongoing DDOS attacks”.The PC version released in 2016, and became a target for DDOS attacks in 2019, eventually rendering it unplayable.

Respawn Entertainment asked players to vote on what they thought was the most popular Apex Legends character was (by pick rate), before revealing the official ranking a day later.The TitanFall blog revealed the top five on November 27. Wraith sits at the top of the picks, followed by Blooodhound and newcomer Horizon.
