Emmerdale made for intense viewing on Thursday night but some viewers were left unimpressed with a predictable plot twist involving a baby monitor.During the latest episode, Gabby Thomas christened baby Thomas in front of family and close friends.But the return of Kim Tate's granddaughter Millie and her grandmother Hazel meant that viewers were in for a fair amount of drama.Once the christening came to a close, Millie went to visit her baby brother in his room and gave him a special message from their dad Jamie Tate, who many believed to be dead.However as Millie spoke openly, she could be heard by Gabby downstairs on the baby monitor.Although things were starting to heat up, fans were left deflated with the rather predictable reveal.Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "Oh, the ole secret heard through the baby monitor thing. How long since we've had one of those?"Another said: "Oh the baby monitor I bet."A third penned: "A baby monitor, how do they come up with these original ideas."
