Love Island's Liam tells Gemma how he feels after Davide stole him from her
Love Island was of course filled with plenty of drama when Davide Sanclimenti decided to couple up with Gemma Owen, meaning that Liam Llewellyn was left single and vulnerable.As Gemma Owen made her way over to her new partner, Liam looked visibly gutted as he could only sit by and watch.Even though Liam looked devastated, Gemma seemed to be very happy in her new couple.Speaking in the Beach Hut tonight (June 8), Gemma says: “Me and Davide are now a couple which I’m quite excited about."I’m really happy and I’m really looking forward to getting to know him a bit more and seeing where it goes.”Liam and Gemma were coupled up in a shock twist public vote on the first day and although Liam seemed smitten it didn't take long for the pair to clash and the Michael Owens daughter to confess there she felt there was 'something missing.'Even though she is happy, it seems she is not putting all her eggs in one basket with the Italian Stallion.Speaking at the fire pit with Gemma, Liam says: “Tomorrow is a new day - I’ve got work to do!”Gemma tells Liam that she is still open to getting to know him. She says: “Me being in a couple with him hasn’t changed how I feel about you."I still want to chat to you."It’s still early days."But I can imagine it’s not a nice situation to be in.”It seems that Liam hasn't given up on Gemma yet and is still going to try and talk to her.
