Jamelia lands Hollyoaks role 18 years after appearing as herself in the soap
Jamelia is set to make a guest star appearance in Hollyoaks - nearly 20 years on from her first cameo in the soap as herself. Singer Jamelia, 40, first made her debut on the Channel 4 soap back in 2003, when she popped up in the village as herself, but this time she's back in an acting role.The star has been cast for Hollyoaks' Black to Front episode, a day celebrating Black talent at Channel 4, and she will join Kelle Bryan as her character Martine Devereaux's pal Sharon Bailey.
