Medics race to motionless Winter Olympics skier as she collapses in dramatic finish
Winter Olympics. Norwegian skier Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold fell to the ground after crossing the line in 14th place in the event on Sunday following a difficult final lap of the course.Biathlon combines cross-country skiing and rifle shooting as athletes complete laps of a course, with their starts separated based on times from previous races.Tandrevold had been in contention for a medal going into the final lap before her competitors were able to make up ground on her.After finishing the race, Tandrevold collapsed on her skis and appeared motionless as officials and medics rushed to help her.The 25-year-old was soon helped to her feet and away from the course following a brief delay whilst medics saw to her.This was the second time in three days that Tandrevold had suffered from a health scare, having collapsing after finishing fifth in the 7.5km sprint on Friday.Will Team GB win a medal before the end of the Winter Olympics?
