F1 driver Jolyon Palmer has opened up about a major health scare he suffered as a youngster which saw him lose a kidney.Palmer, now 31, competed in F1 in 2016 and 2017 for Renault before being dropped by the French team. Since then he has carved out a successful media career, working with BBC 5 Live, F1TV and the sport’s official website.The son of businessman and former F1 driver Jonathan Palmer, there was always a strong chance Jolyon would go into motorsport.
