A suspected kidnapper has been arrested after an 87-year-old man was allegedly bundled into a car and thrown out 15 miles away. The elderly victim was reportedly dragged into a black car on Lee Street, in Oldham, on Sunday evening (September 15).

41-year-old woman was attacked in woodland close to Rochdale Canal at around 7.30pm on Friday, July 10, police said.It is believed the offender followed the victim for around 15 minutes as she walked along the canal path near to Morrisons supermarket in Failsworth. The rape took place on the canal on the border between Failsworth and North Manchester.
